Long weekend!

Hello all! This has been the longest weekend that I have known! Friday, I drove to Keyes to go get my sister in law so that she could get some groceries for her and her twins. It's only a 15 minute drive but it seemed like it lasted forever seeing how I was trying to figure out what to do for my son's birthday party for Saturday. THEN, my mother-in-law showed up and WOULD NOT leave. This woman drives me crazy! She is always trying to tell me and my husband how to live, how to raise the kids, and she even tried to tell me that going to school right now was not a good idea. I don't get along with her very well and she stayed over here for 6 hours!! I felt like shooting her when she left. LOL (I really wouldn't but the thought was there!) After this, I had to leave and go make the car payment that left us completely broke for the week! My husband was so grouchy and was taking it out on me and I about blew up. We got back home, and I went straight to bed because I had a BIG day ahead for Saturday. We woke up about 8:30am and I got all the kids dressed and changed and left them with Daddy while I went and got the last minute things that were needed for the party. By the time I got back from all the errands, I had 2 hours to get all the decorating and cleaning done for the party. I barely got it done. It was all worth it in the end because William had a blast and seeing his big smile made me forget about all the stress from that morning. He got tons of toys and much needed summer clothes. We all had so much fun. Then, today, Brian had to go back to work and the kids have done NOTHING but fight all day long. Bedtime is in one more hour and I am looking forward to it very much! I have a lot of school work that I need to work on and I still need to finish my FAFSA for the next school year. Well, I am pretty sure this was boring to read but it helped me vent a little about my weekend! haha!

  1. Phew, you are one busy woman! Glad to hear the party worked out well, despite the stress preparing for it.
